What does self-care look like for you?

Looking for ways to take care of me. It’s easy to be completely consumed by what’s going on in the world. And looking for ways to listen, learn, dismantle, support and help. Some things are going to slip, and that’s OK. Instead of putting more pressure on myself, I’m ok with not doing it all. And I know whatever it is that doesn’t get done, taking care of me can’t be included on that list. It becomes more and more apparent every day.

Self care is a must, empath. For all of us. Whatever your lightwork is in this world, it’s not sustainable without it. Whatever your challenge, whatever your struggle... self care will support you through it.

For the space holders, the warriors, the leaders, the helpers, the teachers, the students... please remember boundaries are good and self care is a necessity.

It’s easy as an empath to take on the archetype of the martyr, to put the desires of others first, to put yourself on the back burner. To say YES to every direction you’re pulled and no to yourself. I’ll take care of me when... first I need to do x,y and z...

I promise taking care of you helps others.

Your big beautiful heart gets to love bigger, when you take time for you.

What does your self care look like right now?

Today mine looked like time in nature, enjoying freshly cut peonies all over my home, letting go of being “behind” and being ok with where I am.
