Sensitivity Overload - Full Moon on Thanksgiving!
/Before shit gets real today, let’s talk sensitivity.
Feeling sensitive?
It’s totally normal.
A Full Moon on Thanksgiving is a recipe for sensitivity overload! You’ll pick up on your own and the energy of those around you.
The full moon heightens everything. These holidays can be filled with a lot of love but also a lot of pain and stress.
So are we doomed?? No way!
💫 Ground your energy.
Connect with your body and Mother Earth. You do this by simply being aware of your breath and your body. Then by sending your energy through your feet and down.
💫 Energetically protect yourself.
Set an energetic boundary. You can imagine a force field of light around you and trust that within it your energy is secure and you won’t take on the energy from others.
💫 Ask for guidance.
Check in with your spiritual team Above and ask for some help. They love that!! Be open to the signs and their guidance.
💫 Set your intentions for the day.
Don’t put any rigid expectations on yourself where you set this unattainable bar that you have to hit to feel ok with yourself. Simply set an intention for how you want to feel and how you want to show up. Something very simple, gentle, spacious that you can hold firmly in your mind.
💫 Be aware.
Emotions will likely be heightened. Be aware of what your body, mind, soul are craving in the moment. And if you become aware something is off...
💫 Stay curious.
If you notice yourself feeling a certain way - is this my stuff or am I picking up on someone else’s energy? Am I being triggered? What’s this really about?
💫 Be gentle and compassionate.
There’s no bar you or anyone else needs to live up to. If there’s a fall, mistake, misstep, shadow sides come out - IT’S OK! How gently and compassionately we treat ourselves during this time is what really matters. IT’S OK!! Give yourself a break, some water, a hug. Whatever you need. It’s ok to not be ok for a bit. Hold yourself with love through it. And when you’re ready you can repeat the steps Above for a reset.

Don’t look for anyone else to give you permission to do or not do something. Give that gift to yourself. Something feels overwhelming or giving you major resistance? You can decide to let that shit go. Need something?? Give it to yourself. You’ve got this!
💫 What’s this day really about?
Check in and get pumped up. For me it’s about love and gratitude. THANKS - GIVING. There it is. Sprinkle it everywhere. It’s about giving thanks. Put that love and gratitude into every ingredient, every bite and every greeting. Today is NOT about giving all your energy and time and emotion and whatever else until you drop.
