/Holy Shift! It's Time to SHINE!
While at the Rock Your Life Sanctuary this past weekend, it was seriously Lightbulb City! Not only was I so blessed to hold space and support everyone, but I got to see myself as I truly am. And guess forking what? I LOVE what I saw! I walked away from the weekend embracing and radiating my light. Much like my soul sister and mentor, Taraleigh Weathers, wrote about in her blog this week, I'm taking it all off! I no longer want to hide behind the veil of any ego based instinct to play it small or hide who I truly am. I am swirling in my superpowers, embracing my true essence, radiating the deepest expression of my soul!
At the retreat, we created a sanctuary. We found that sacred space of ease and knowing within ourselves. We said yes to our power. We sang, we danced, we blessed, stretched, breathed, laughed, hugged and cried. We opened our eyes. We saw each other. We saw ourselves and liked what we saw. We gazed past the surface into the soul. We expressed ourselves deeply and authentically. We gave freely. We received completely. We listened to each other and so importantly, we heard the voice of our own souls. We met our fears, looked them in the eye and declared we will move past them. We owned our triggers. We burst right open. We held space. We connected with our spiritual team, each other and ourselves. We released and released again and released some more. We let it in and let it go. We welcomed JOY and LOVE. We put our whole authentic selves in. We thanked the shadows and stood in the light. We emerged full, with greater clarity, a deeper sense of self and a brighter spark.
This was already tested just today. I had a thought to dim my light to make someone else more comfortable. And in the past, I would have done just that. I was most comfortable fitting in and trying to make others feel like they were not alone. The truth is they aren't alone, but I don't have to dim my light to show them that. That doesn't serve me or anyone else. I am learning that IT IS OK to SHINE ALL THE DAMN TIME!!!!!! My playing small doesn't serve anyone, my bright light however - that serves us all.

So here I am in my newly accepted shine as bright as I truly am superpowers!! Embracing and celebrating all my magic. I am a powerful winged leader. My eyes are open. I am here to FLY and help you do the same.
Also, how about this for a shift?! At the retreat, one of my beautiful sisters said to me, "I know it will be ok." I heard the brilliant voice of my intuition ...or was it my angels, guides or soul dog?? We're all starting to sound the same!! Anyway, I said, "What if you changed that around to "It is OK!"?! We're always telling people it will be ok. One day it will be ok, but that day isn't today. We are reaffirming and law of attractioning it not being ok today. That keeps up stuck in the cage. I am guilty of saying it myself a million times. However, this small shift in language equals a HUGE shift in consciousness. It makes it OK - NOW. It's also the truth - it is OK! Right here, right now, whatever your struggle - It is OK!
The next day as I led a fantasticly gorgeous morning party, as a group we were singing Bob Marley's Three Little Birds... "Singing "Don't worry about a thing. 'Cause every little thing IS ALRIGHT!"
