Simple New Moon Tool

Just because you’re realizing more and more that you can’t control the outcome or others reactions or actions, doesn’t mean you’re powerless.

We are seeing more and more how connected we are. That our actions have an impact. It makes a difference if you’re physically isolating, not hoarding supplies, supporting others. It makes a difference when you're thoughtful and mindful of your energy and the things you say and post.

You are powerful and one of the best things you can do right now is to care for yourself and your nest. It has a ripple effect. 

It’s a new moon, dear empath. 

It’s normal to feel extra sensitive today. It’s a new moon. The darkest night of the cycle. The moon literally disappears from view in the sky. I find it a super introspective time, where I typically am lower energy and more aware of my sensitivity. 

You know my theory that we either shine with the new moon or the full moon and the other is more of a shadowy time. So some of you are shining like crazy right now and have lots of energy, thank you for holding space for us full mooners - we are feeling it now. 

For those of us feeling the weight: What can you do to honor how you’re feeling? You can be gentle with yourself (and others, bc they’re feeling it too). You’re an empath, either at home with other empaths (including the littles and the pets) or working with other empaths.

Your nest is your sanctuary, your safe space. It’s important to take care of it. What can you do to honor that and honor this new moon? Let today/tonight be for rest, reflect, retreat, self care and cleansing. 
You are an empath around empaths. Stand in your power by taking care of yourself and the energy of your space. Those around you will respond to it too. In doing the you are so powerful.

Tool of the day: Shift the energy in your nest. First get outside. Regardless of weather, ground in Mother Nature. Then open the windows and burn sage or incense or use a space cleansing spray. Don’t have those things, no biggie you can sweep or dance around instead. Sound vibrations help too: play music, ring a bell, speak, sing or clap. Escort any heaviness out. Get the energy flowing where it feels congested. Make it fun or make it spiritual. Just get it flowing.
